ABOUT SESSIONS

  • Will I be asleep? No. You’ll be relaxed but alert, able to talk, open your eyes, and make choices at any time.

  • Will I remember what happens? Yes. Most people remember clearly and feel calm and present.

  • Can everyone be hypnotised? Most people can engage with focused, guided attention when they feel safe and willing.

  • What if I can’t visualise? That’s fine. We can use sensation, sound, movement, or meaning—whatever works best for you.

  • How many sessions will I need? It depends on your goals and history. Some people shift quickly; others benefit from a brief series. We’ll agree a sensible plan together in your free call and first session.

EFFECTIVENESS & SAFETY

  • Is hypnotherapy safe? Yes, when practised ethically and with your consent. You stay in charge and we move at your pace.

  • Do I have to relive the past? No. We avoid overwhelm and focus on what helps now. You choose where we go.

  • What if it doesn’t work for me? We’ll review after the first session. If another approach is better, I’ll say so—and help with next steps where possible.

  • Is this a replacement for medical care? No. It complements medical or psychological treatment. With your permission, I can coordinate with your providers.

ONLINE SESSIONS

  • Do you work online? Yes. Online sessions are effective; you’ll need a private space and stable connection.

  • What do I need for online sessions? Headphones if possible, a comfortable chair or couch, phone on silent, and a place where you won’t be interrupted. Preferably use either a desktop or laptop.

BOOKING & FEES

  • How do I book? Use “Book Free 20‑Minute Call” or contact me. We’ll choose a time that suits you.

  • How soon can I start? Often within 1–2 weeks. If you need sooner, let me know and I’ll try to help.

  • What are your fees and do you offer rebates? See Fees & Rebates for current session fees and any private health fund notes.

  • What’s your cancellation policy? Please give 24 hours’ notice to avoid a fee. Please refer to Terms & Conditions.

  • How can I pay? Card, Cash or Afterpay. You’ll receive a receipt after each session.

SUITABILITY & SCOPE

  • Do you see children or teens? I primarily work with adults. If you’re seeking support for someone under 18, please get in touch to discuss suitability.

  • Can you help with anxiety, anger, or cravings? Yes. These are common focuses. We’ll make a simple plan and adjust as your system settles.

  • Do you help with complex addiction or PTSD? Hypnotherapy can support broader care. For complex needs, I’m happy to collaborate with your GP or other providers (with your consent).

  • Are you an emergency service? No. If you are in immediate danger, call 000. For 24/7 support, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

  • What should I bring? Just yourself. Comfortable clothing and a bottle of water can help. You’ll receive any prep notes in your booking confirmation.

  • What happens after I book? You’ll get a confirmation email with date/time, location or online link, and in some cases simple prep notes.

  • Is parking and access straightforward? Yes. You’ll receive directions, parking details, and access instructions in your confirmation email. If you have accessibility needs, please tell me—happy to help.

  • Is my information confidential? Yes. Your privacy matters. I keep records securely and only share information with your consent or when required by law.
